Jaguar’s new all-electric “four-door GT” set to hit showrooms next year.
The first in a new era of greener Jaguars – and part of the British automaker’s ambitious Reimagine program – the Jaguar four-door GT will have a range of up to 430 miles with deliveries starting in 2025.
It will sit on an all-new dedicated architecture known as Jaguar Electric Architecture (JEA), and start at about $128,000.
This electric sedan will be built in the U.K. and promises to surpass the horsepower of any previous Jaguar model. With an impressive estimated range of 430 miles and a price tag of around $124,000, this eagerly anticipated vehicle is set to make waves in the EV market.
Jaguar has plans to become an all-electric car brand by 2025 and will begin that new era with an almost entirely new vehicle lineup while saying goodbye to its internal combustion cars.
The upcoming four-door GT will ride on Jaguar’s new electric architecture known as JEA. The company has shared initial specifications, including details about the platform, power output, and range estimates.
Although the teaser image only reveals the wide rear haunches and a swoopy roofline, it hints at the sleek and stylish design that Jaguar is known for.

Jaguar claims that the new all-electric four-door GT will be more powerful than any other Jaguar model to date.
Considering that the current most potent Jaguar vehicles offer 575 horsepower from a supercharged V-8 gas engine, it’s safe to assume that the electric Jaguar four-door GT will possess at least 600 horsepower. The JEA platform, which underpins this model, is also expected to be used for two other upcoming Jaguar vehicles.
While the initial range claim of 430 miles is likely based on the WLTP cycle, it suggests that the Jaguar EV could still offer an impressive EPA range of around 300 miles when it arrives in the United States.
Production of the GT will take place at Jaguar Land Rover’s Solihull factory in the U.K., with its debut slated for later this year. This new model is part of Jaguar Land Rover’s ambitious $19 billion investment in electrification over the next five years. The company is revamping its manufacturing facilities and plans to introduce a range of mid-size luxury SUVs under the Land Rover and Range Rover brands on a new electric-only platform called Electric Modular Architecture (EMA).
As the automotive industry continues its electrification journey, Jaguar is carving a path for itself with the introduction of the four-door GT. With its exceptional power, impressive range, and sleek design, this model is set to redefine what it means to drive an electric vehicle. Jaguar’s commitment to electrification is evident, and the upcoming GT is just the beginning of an exciting future for the brand.
